7500 York, built in 1978, was the first senior cooperative built in the United States. Over 30 years later, Ebenezer embarked on an addition called York Gardens and it became the first Assisted Living senior community attached to a senior co-op.

Pope Architects designed York Gardens to complement the existing nine-story cooperative, yet offer a unique residential character and sensitivity to adjacent community.

High quality woodwork, stained glass, and elaborate yet functional fabrics, create a timeless, beautiful home that residents and their families are accustomed to.  Interior design provided by Encompass Interiors.

York Gardens was featured in the 2012 Design Environments for Aging Annual Showcase.
