Acist Medical Systems, Inc., part of the Bracco Group, manufactures contrast delivery systems used by hospitals for both diagnostic and interventional procedures. Pope Associates designed a two-phase, 75,000 sq. ft. headquarters facility for Acist, including office and lab facilities, in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Pope’s initial work included design of interior improvements within an existing building shell designed by Pope several years ago for another client. Lab spaces include both wet and dry facilities for product development, manufacturing, testing, decontamination and service.
As Acist underwent a major growth spurt, Pope continued working with the client and the developer to expand within the headquarters facility. The second phase of the project included a new lobby and reception area, training room, executive board room, expansion of an existing customer service office, and a new breakroom space for employees.
The office and lab spaces features Class A finishes, hardwood floors, reclaimed wood feature wall in the lobby, high-tech audiovisual coordination in the executive conference and board room, all new systems furniture, and custom conference room tables. |
