Paul Holmes believes that good architecture invigorates people and enhances their lives. When he was four, his Dad built him a sandbox. He emptied out the sand, tipped the box on edge to make one wall of a fort, and has been building and remodeling ever since. He appreciates buildings that suit their sites and respond to their surroundings, and enjoys thinking creatively to help solve problems.

He is passionate about his family, and grateful that he and his wife can watch their children grow and mature. Paul’s interests include playing guitar, paddling, and volunteering at his church. The Green River in Utah is one of his favorite destinations, as he met his wife there on a 100 mile canoe trip. If he could change jobs (he seldom wants to), he’d be a Biology or Outdoor Education Teacher.
