Ward Isaacson Named President of Pope Architects

Pope Architects is pleased to announce Ward M. Isaacson, AIA as our new President. Jon Pope will continue to serve as the firm’s Chief Executive Officer, and support the overall operations and business development of the company.

Pope Architects’ leadership team includes Principals and stockholders Jon Pope, CEO; Ward Isaacson, President; Paul Holmes, Vice President; Erica Larson and Tom Kuck.

Ward Isaacson has been with Pope Architects since 2003, becoming a Principal and stockholder in 2006, and Vice President in 2014. Ward leads the firm’s Housing practice, which includes work with Senior Housing Providers, Market-Rate and Affordable Housing clients. He has over 25 years of experience in Architectural practice and has helped establish Pope Architects as a nationally-recognized leader in housing architecture and interior design.

In addition to the Principal leadership group, Gonzalo Villares, AIA, heads up the firm’s Commercial practice. Gonzalo has been with Pope for 11 years. He manages staff resources and client relationships, and oversees projects in Pope Architects’ corporate office, industrial, retail and mission critical efforts.

The company is also pleased to announce the recent promotion of Sandra “Sam” Buehler to Director of Finance and Office Services. Sam has been with Pope Architects for 17 years and leads the company’s finance and human resources department.
