The design of industrial facilities must begin from the inside out. Clients want buildings that house and efficiently support the processes central to their industry. So we begin by understanding how materials and information flow through a business and identify the spaces that will support that process. Sometimes that means relocating functions within the space to add value and improve efficiency in the client's operations.
Beyond efficiently housing processes, and providing flexibility for the future, industrial architecture can and should support corporate culture and branding, and enhance the quality of life for building occupants. A key component to the process is site selection, and we often work with clients to evaluate sites based on data we help collect reflecting their present and future space needs.
